DANCESTUDIO

The studio was founded by Beata Zadou (now Cifuentes) as the first studio of its kind in Berlin, in which many oriental dancers were trained. In addition to the daily classes special workshops are offered with teachers from Egypt, the US and other countries.

The guest teachers have been:
from Egypt Mahmoud Reda, Farida Fahmy, Diana, Samasem, Tahia Carioca, Mohammed Khalil, Momo Kadous, Hassan Afifi und Professor Hassan Khalil; from the USA Bert Balladine, Sahra Saeeda, Shareen el Safy, Amaya, Kathryn Fergusson, Zarefah, Afritah, Julia Rigler; from the Netherlands Scheherezade; from Tunesia Leyla Haddad; from Persia Soraya und Hossein Fayazpour; from Germany Rita Sherif, Magdy El-Leisy, Badr El Ramah, Aladin El Kholy, Sahela, Reyhan, Zahra, Leyla Nahrawess, Magdy Youns, Amir Thaleb (Argentina), Virginia Mendez (USA), Anna Barner (Denmark).

In their studio in Berlin they teach an intensive week twice a year for advanced / professional dancers from all over the world: four days over Easter and five days at the beginning of the Berliner autumn school holidays. For the evenings they invite well known international teachers.

In June for the Summerfestival many short workshops with several teachers are offered. During the Summerfestival weekend we show the currant Oriental-Fantasy-Show and – first time in 2004 – present the RAKS SHARQI international Contest!!
